Sidewalk Art Festival returning to Winter Park this week

The annual Sidewalk Art Festival will return to Winter Park this week.

The 63rd installment of the event will return to Winter Park from Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20.

The event will feature national and international juried artists exhibiting artwork along Park Avenue and throughout Central Park.

According to city officials, multiple streets will be closed during the event, from 5 a.m. on March 18 through 9 p.m. on March 20.

A special Saturday night jazz concert will be held the week before the festival on Saturday, March 12, from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. as well.

Closures include Lincoln and East Welbourne avenues from Center Street to South Park Avenue; Morse Boulevard from South Knowles to South New York avenues; New England Avenue from West Park Avenue to Center Street; and Park Avenue from West Canton to Lyman avenues.

Retail businesses are approved to have one table or one rack outdoors without a permit. More than one rack or table will require an application. No pets, bicycles, motorized scooters or skateboards will be allowed inside the festival areas.
