Brick and Fire was forced to temporarily close its pizzeria last week after a health inspector cited nearly 20 health code violations.
According to a report from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the restaurant, which is located at 1621 S Orange Avenue, was temporarily closed on Tuesday, March 15, after a health inspector found 19 health code violations.
Among the citations were three considered high priority, including the presence of rodent activity as evidenced by nearly 70 rodent droppings found around the kitchen and appliances.
The following day, March 16, the business was reinspected and allowed to reopen, despite at least seven violations still remaining.
