An Orlando man claimed a $1 million prize after purchasing a winning scratch-off from a 7-Eleven in Edgewood.
The Florida Lottery reported that 38-year-old Sonny Capobianco claimed $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LIMITED Scratch-Off game and chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000.
According to lottery officials, Capobianco purchased his winning ticket from the 7-Eleven located at 5650 Hansel Avenue in Edgewood. That business will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
GOLD RUSH LIMITED is a $20 Scratch-Off game that features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million, and an additional 33,000 prizes ranging $1,000 to $100,000.
