The city of Orlando and Mayor Buddy Dyer are encouraging local residents to participate in this year’s Bike to Work Day.
City officials will host Bike to Work Day on Friday, March 25, in order to restart the City’s annual tradition. Beginning at 7 a.m., riders will gather at Lake Lorna Doone Park to embark on a ride to City Hall.
From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Mayor Dyer will lead the ride through downtown Orlando to City Hall Plaza. All morning, City Hall Plaza will host a celebration where downtown workers can learn more about the City’s bike projects and connect to local organizations and resources.
Free, all-day parking is available at Lake Lorna Doone Park for Bike to Work Day participants. Twenty Lime e-bikes will be available for those who want to participate in the group bike ride but do not own a bike.
