18-year-old accused of killing man in south Orlando apartment complex

An 18-year-old male is facing first degree murder charges after witnesses say he shot and killed another man at a south Orlando apartment complex.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the shooting at the Point Vista Apartments on Saturday, April 2, at around 4:46 p.m.

Witnesses advised that shots were fired after two men were engaged in a physical altercation. Deputies located 42-year-old Frantz Gustave in an unresponsive state on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Gustave was pronounced deceased on scene.

According to law enforcement officials, Jaheim Lord was arrested on a charge of first degree murder and booked into the Orange County Jail.
