The Special Olympics USA Games will be hosted in Central Florida this year and event organizers are asking the public for help.
The 2022 Special Olympics USA Games will be hosted at venues across Orange and Osceola Counties this June. More than a thousand athletes from across the United States will compete in 19 different sports.
The Games’ Local Organizing Committee is in need of thousands of volunteers to fill a variety of roles, beginning as early as May, according to a press release from Orange County Public Schools.
Adults and students 15 years or older are encouraged to volunteer.
