37-year-old Orlando woman killed in Ocoee Apopka Road accident

A 37-year-old Orlando woman was killed after crashing her vehicle on Ocoee Apopka Road.

The accident took place on Friday morning around 4:40 a.m. near the intersection of Ocoee Apopka Road and Demastus Lane, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

A witness says that the woman, who has not been identified per FHP policy, was driving a 2007 Nissan Armada northbound on Ocoee Apopka Road when it drifted off the road and collided with a tree and fence.

The woman was pronounced deceased on the scene and the crash remains under investigation, according to FHP.
