Mynt Indian Cuisine temporarily closes Winter Park location after failed health inspection

Mynt Indian Cuisine was forced to close its fine dining establishment in Winter Park last week after a failed health inspection uncovered multiple violations.

According to a report from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the health inspector cited nearly 20 violations at the restaurant, which is located at 535 W New England Avenue.

Among the 20 violations were 7 considered high priority. Those included the presence of dozens of rodent droppings, as well as live, small flying insects found in and around the kitchen.

The restaurant was permitted to reopen on the following day, April 29, despite six violations still remaining, including food stored at inappropriate temperatures.
