Orange County will implement a sales tax holiday on certain disaster preparedness supplies beginning later this month.
The holiday begins on Saturday, May 28, and will extend through Friday, June 10, according to the Florida Department of Health in Orange County.
The department is encouraging all residents to prepare for hurricane season by taking advantage of the holiday and making exempt purchases.
