SoDough Square has opened a new, Detroit-style pizza restaurant in Orlando.
The business is currently celebrating a soft opening through Sunday, May 15 from 4 p.m. each day until they have sold out. According to the business, only 100 pizzas will be sold each day during the soft opening.
Located at 419 East Michigan Street, the new business is prides itself on having taken two years to create a dough, cheese blend and sauce that they “can stand behind and represent Detroit,” reads their website.
Pizzas are baked in blue steel pans purchased from Michigan and all ingredients are made in house, including Sanislaus county tomato sauce, brick cheese, and fermented dough.
Though simple, the SoDough Square menu is filled with distinct combinations that feature their house red sauce coupled with a variety of meats and vegetables. The Detroit Rob City features whipped ricotta, fresh basil, sausage, pepperoni, and hot honey.
