Volunteers wanted to help clean up Thornton Park neighborhood

Volunteers are needed for a scheduled Thorton Park clean-up event this weekend.

The Thornton Park Neighborhood Association will host its quarterly neighborhood cleanup on Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The group will meet at Island Time before the event and reconvene afterwards for drinks.

The association focuses on picking up garbage, cigarette butts, gum, rocks, and branches and palm fronds from the streets, sidewalks, and areas in between.
