Mills Gallery, City Arts hosting Harold Garde works

A couple of local art galleries are hosting exhibitions featuring works by abstract expressionist painter Harold Garde.

Kimono with Flowers and Figures and Faces will be on display at City Arts and Mills Gallery over the coming weeks. City Arts, which is located at 39 S Magnolia Avenue, will host its exhibit through June 16, while Mills Gallery, which is located at 1650 Mills Avenue, will host its exhibit through July 2.

Garde, who was born in New York City and served in the United States Air Force, will celebrate his 99th birthday on June 7. His works have been exhibited in galleries across the world.
