Carol Hancock-Carleu formerly of Mountainside, passed at the age of 89 in Orlando, Florida, on December 1, 2021. She was pre-deceased by both of her husbands, Donald F. Hancock and George H. Carleu and her stepson Stephen. Mother of Carolyn Hancock and James Hancock, sister of Audrey Woolley. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Ashley and Bryce, two step children Linda Smith and Greg Carleu and three step grand children Trevor, Olivia and Lily.
Volunteering was a large part of Carol’s life. She served as the State President of the NJSFWC as well as the President of the Woman’s Club of Mountainside, NJ.. She was active in the Overlook Hospital Auxiliary serving again as President of the Auxiliary and then to Overlook Foundation Board. She was also a member of the NJ Symphony.
