A person had to be extricated from a vehicle and trauma alerted to a local hospital after a collision with a semi-truck on I-4.
According to the Orlando Fire Department, the collision took place between the vehicle and the semi-truck on Wednesday afternoon on I-4 eastbound, near the John Young Parkway exit.
Crews from Engine 17, Tower 7, Rescue 10, Heavy Rescue 1, and District 2 worked together to extricate an individual from the vehicle.
Photos show multiple firefighters working to remove the roof of the car.
The patient was trauma alerted to Orlando Health, according to authorities.
