Three men were arrested after they were allegedly caught on video chaining a truck to an ATM, ripping its cover off, and stealing its contents.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, May 26, three men were arrested in connection with the destruction of an ATM at a local bank.
During the incident, video shows the men chain a white pickup truck to the ATM at a Chase Bank on East Colonial Drive before driving quickly out of frame and pulling off the front cover.
“You rob an ATM in Orange County, we will catch you,” reads a social media post from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office arrested 23-year-old Deontrae Walden, 22-year-old Carlos Reed, Jr., and 23-year-old Wendell Harp, Jr. All three men face multiple charges, including burglary of a structure, grand theft and criminal mischief.
According to OCSO, the three men are suspected of committing similar crimes in other areas across central and southern Florida.
“We are proud of our Night General Investigations Squad for getting these guys off the streets,” reads the OCSO post.
