Health food inspector

A popular Chinese restaurant on East Colonial Drive was forced to temporarily close its doors after a health inspector cited 15 health code violations.

On Monday, May 23, a health inspector from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation made a visit to the restaurant, located at 3922 E Colonial Drive, in order to conduct a routine food health inspection.

Among the multiple violations cited were at least six considered high priority, including the presence of rodent activity and live, small flying insects. In addition, a stop sale was issued on multiple foods stored at unsafe temperatures.

The restaurant was reinspected on the following day and permitted to reopen after only three violations remained.
