The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for an older model Chevrolet or Dodge pick-up truck with distinct details for its possible involvement in the hit-and-run death of 42-year-old Clint Welch.
Police have released new details in the death of Welch, whose body was discovered lying in the road near the intersection of Lemon Bluff Road and State Road 415 on Sunday, May 22.
Authorities believe the collision occurred between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. that morning.
According to new details released by FHP, law enforcement is now looking for an older model, Chevrolet or Dodge pick-up truck with a rounded body style. The vehicle has a lift and white and green neon lights emanating from underneath.
Earlier this week, friends gathered to celebrate the life of Welch, who worked a variety of jobs including as cook at the popular Kate O’Brien’s Irish Pub. Welch moved to Osteen and had been working as a cook at Gators Riverside Grille in Sanford.
