The Florida Highway Patrol is asking the public for help to identify the driver of a silver Audi wanted in connection with the hit-and-run death of a 63-year-old Casselberry man who was walking his dog across a street.
The incident took place around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 near the intersection of Eagle Circle and Twelve League Circle in Seminole County.
According to an FHP report, a 2013 Audi Q7 SUV was traveling westbound on Eagle Circle when it struck the man, who was walking his dog across Eagle Circle from north to south.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Casselberry Police Department officers located the abandoned Audi approximately one mile from the crash scene, according to FHP.
The vehicle has been taken into evidence and troopers are speaking to the owner to investigate who was driving at the time of the collision.
