OCSO asking public for help to locate suspects in drive-by shooting of 19-year-old in Pine Hills

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help to locate suspects responsible for the drive-by shooting death of 19-year-old Raniyah A’Shanti Gandy in Pine Hills this week.

According to OCSO, Gandy was shot and killed on Wednesday morning by suspects in an apparent drive-by shooting at The Park at Highgate apartment complex, located at 3024 Powers Drive.

Deputies found Gandy at around 3:13 a.m. and she was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS. Any information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for up to a $5,000 reward.
