Donald Waters

Donald (Donny) Waters, born in Atlanta on April 7, 1960, went home to his Lord on June 3, 2022. He was the son of Paul and the late Jean Waters and husband to his wife and partner of 21 years, Linda Young, who is beloved by his family who was with him as he entered heaven. His last words were fittingly, “I love you, too.”

His life included many artistic and business pursuits including remodeling and flipping houses, cooking and grilling by the pool and unselfishly, generously and often anonymously sharing his talents to those in need.

A talented artist and musician, Donny founded a successful business, Paint, Party, and Play, with wife Linda. His large group of friends include many from Colonial High School, class of 1978. He also loved his first cousins who joined together for “Cousin Conclave,” a joyous celebration of family.

Don will be greatly missed by sister Paula (Van), brother Bob (Suzanne) nieces & nephew.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 7 at Robert Bryant Funeral Chapel, 321 East Michigan Street at 11am with a reception to follow. All are welcomed.
