One dead, multiple road closures after car falls from SR 408 onto I-4

Multiple roads are closed and one person is dead after a vehicle fell from State Road 408 onto Interstate 4 in Orlando this morning.

According to the Orlando Police Department, the incident took place at the I-4 and SR 408 interchange in Orange County on Monday, June 6.

As of 11:115 a.m., multiple road closures are in effect and will be for the foreseeable future.

Those closures include both directions of I-4 Express Lanes at SR 408, both entrances to I-4 from SR 408, and only one lane remains open at westbound I-4 regular lanes.

The department says they will provide more information and updates as follows.
