Robert J. Gallivan

Robert J. Gallivan (Bob), 87, of Orlando, FL, passed away on June 1, 2022 at Advent Health Hospital South in Orlando. He was a resident of Life Care Center of Orlando since January, 2021 and a resident of Orlando for the past 30 years.

Bob was born in Weymouth, MA on July 23, 1934, oldest of four children of George J. Gallivan and Alice (Feely) Gallivan, and resided in Quincy, MA until moving to Orlando in 1992. He was employed in sales for food and beverage companies in MA and worked for an Airport Van Service in Florida prior to retirement. Bob is survived by a sister, Brenda Hutchinson of Franklin, MA and was predeceased by two younger brothers, George J. Gallivan (2001) and Thomas E. Gallivan (2018). Also survived by two sisters-in-law, Margaret Gallivan and Emily Gallivan, as well as 3 nieces and 4 nephews.

Bob was an avid sports fan of both college and professional sports, especially University of Florida “Gators” and Boston College Eagles and the Boston pro teams; was an avid reader and enjoyed music and socializing with friends and family. He is in the care of DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Franklin, MA, with burial in a family plot in Avon, MA
