One dead, one in hospital after shooting at Family Dollar

One man is dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting that took place just after 6 a.m. on Friday morning at an Orlando dollar store.

The incident took place around 6:06 a.m. this morning at the Family Dollar located at 7113 South Orange Blossom Trail. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene after hearing gunshots in the area.

Upon arrival, deputies found two men in the parking lot that had been shot.

The first victim, a man in his 30s, was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The second victim, a man in his 20s, was transported to hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Deputies are currently looking for suspects and will provide updates as they become available, according to OCSO.
