The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office will host a Pooches and Po-Po event this Saturday at Austin-Tindall Park.
Benefitting the Osceola County Animal Control, the fundraiser will take place on June 11 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the park, which is located at 4100 Boggy Creek Road in Kissimmee.
The event will include vendor booths, pet adoption opportunities, and a costume contest.
The groups are asking attendees to consider bringing any of the following items to help animal control’s day-to-day operations: Shampoo, towels, disinfectant wipes, office supplies, flea prevention, pet wipes, newspaper, treats, pet nursing bottles, heating pads, socks and rice, toys, cat litter, cat carriers, cat toys, cat litter, adult cat food, and other items.
The cost to attend is $5 or a donation, and parking is free.
