Eire R. Rivera

Eire R. Rivera, 96 of Guayanilla, Puerto Rico passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his daughters and grand children in Kissimmee, Florida June 6, 2022.
When arriving from Puerto Rico to the United States 70 years ago. He worked as a farmer traveling the mid west and eastern states. During his vacation time he would travel back home to Puerto Rico to visit family and friends. It was on one of these trips back home where he met the love of his life Irene Quinones. They shared beautiful life together and raised five children. Eventually settling in Elizabeth, New Jersey and working as a Shipping and Receiving clerk in Newark, New Jersey, and later retiring in Orlando, Florida.
Eire enjoyed gardening, tinkering in the garage and fixing things in and around the house. He loved watching baseball, the New York Yankees and the Tampa Rays where his favorite teams. He also was an avid fan of the WWE and enjoyed listening to music, especially Maso Rivera and Modesto Rosario. His favorite time of year was Christmas. He loved having the house full of family and friends and our traditional “Musica Navidena”.
He is survived by four brothers, Jovino, Hector, Tinto, Eddie and sister Matilde, his two daughters Carmen, Rosaura and son Ferdinand. His granddaughter’s Flor, Erica and grandson’s Ethan and Gabriel and great grand children Beatrice, Michael, Isabella and Cristien.
Eire will be forever be remembered as a wonderful loving, caring, playful and affectionate father, grand father and loyal friend. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
He will be laid to rest with his loving wife Irene in Yauco, Puerto Rico at a later date.
God has you in his arms now and we have you in our hearts forever.
