Local police departments hiring all positions

Multiple police departments across Seminole, Orange, and Osceola counties are currently hiring at all positions, with one hosting a meet and greet next week.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office corrections department will host two informational sessions on Tuesday, June 21 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility, which is located at 211 Eslinger Way in Sanford.

The Oviedo Police Department is looking to hire full-time police officers with pay ranging from $47,277 to $52,0004, including $15,000 in benefits. The department is also offering new-hire recruitment bonuses from $3,000 to $10,000.
