I Heart Mac & Cheese opens one of three new locations planned for Central Florida

A popular macaroni and cheese chain is growing its local presence with three additional restaurants in the Orlando area.

I Heart Mac and Cheese opened the first of those three locations on June 8 at 931 N State Road 434 in Altamonte Springs, within the Jamestown Place shopping center.

The new restaurant offers macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches prepared in a variety of ways. Each dish is fully customizable with different breads, cheeses, vegetables, and proteins.

In addition to its signature macs and sandwiches, I Heart Mac and Cheese offers a half dozen sides to compliment their dishes, including tomato soup and tater tots.

The other two planned locations in central Florida include one in Lake Mary and one in Winter Park. In total, the chain is hoping to have 17 restaurants open in the Sunshine State.

The new location is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
