The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56 previously convicted sexual offenders during a nearly three-month operation in conjunction with United States Marshals.
According to the sheriff’s office, “Operation Bad Apple” was conducted from March 28 through Friday, June 10 and placed a primary focus on sexual offenders and sexual predators that have prior state or federal convictions for production, transmission, or possession of child pornography.
The sheriff’s office says the men were arrested in reference to “violations of their statutory sex offense restrictions and or new law violations.”
All the men arrested were booked and transported to the Osceola County Jail.
