Rachel’s was forced to temporarily close its strip club last week after a food health inspector cited multiple code violations.
Located at 401 E Semoran Boulevard in Casselberry, the gentleman’s club was temporarily shut down on Wednesday, June 8, after a health inspector from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation cited a dozen health code violations.
Among the violations cited was the presence of roach activity.
According to the report, the inspector found 50 live roaches behind the make line in the kitchen area. In addition, the dish machine had to be disabled because the chlorine sanitizer was not at the proper minimum strength.
Upon a follow up inspection on Thursday, June 9, the business was permitted to reopen, despite five violations remaining.
