Gloria Kennedy

On June 8, 2022, Gloria Kennedy passed away peacefully at age 84 after a battle with stomach cancer. Gloria, a world traveler, started her career as a flight attendant with Avianca Airlines. In 1980, she emigrated from Bogota, Colombia and settled down in Miami, Florida to provide a better life for her two children.

Gloria went on to start a successful cleaning business on Miami’s Fisher Island. Gloria devoted her life to raising her daughter and son and made sure both had everything they needed.

She was always known for her great sense of style and kindness. Gloria was also passionate about sports and loved her Miami Hurricanes, Dolphins, and Buccaneers. Gloria is survived by her daughter Marcela, son Rene and grandchildren Kyrie, Adrian and Catalina.

A celebration of life will take place on July 8 at 11:00AM EST at A Community Funeral Home: 910 W. Michigan Street, Orlando, FL 32805. Friends are welcome to start arriving at the funeral home at 10:30 AM.
