Sanford Police searching for trio who stole over $5,000 in MacBooks from Best Buy

The Sanford Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify three people allegedly responsible for stealing over $5,000 worth of merchandise from a local Best Buy.

According to law enforcement authorities, on Thursday, May 19, two males and one female entered the Best Buy located at 1501 Rinehart Road and stole multiple, valuable electronic devices, including a two MacBook Pros, a MacBook Air, and an iPad Air.

In total, the items are valued at $5,248.

The three suspects ran out of the store and left in a van.
