Toy and Comic event on I-Drive this weekend

A local hotel on International Drive will host its first ever Toy and Comic Kon this weekend.

The event will take place on Sunday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Avanti Palms Resort, which is located at 6515 International Drive.

The event will feature a collection of vendors offering action figures, comic books, and collectible sports and Pokemon cards. In addition, vintage video games will be for sale and a number of popular toy brands will be featured, including Hot Wheels, Lego, Hasbro, Mattel, and others.

The event is free and open to the public.
