Roy George McKenzie Lewis

Roy George McKenzie Lewis, 83, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2022. Roy was born on November 16, 1938 in Limon, Costa Rica to the late Ivy M. Mckenzie and Samuel Lambert.

After coming to the United States from Limon, Costa Rica, Roy lead a 27 year career in the healthcare field as a cancer technician and was very good at helping those in need. He carried these qualities with him and extended it to his family and friends. To those who knew Roy, he will be remembered as a caring, outgoing person who was willing to lend a helping hand. He was always there to offer his support from taking care of his family. Roy was someone you could trust and rely on.

In his spare time, he enjoyed family time, fishing, cooking, watching action movies, comedy, playing games, sports, dancing and listening to music. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Roy is survived by his wife, Evelyn Lewis; daughters, Karla Lewis Green, Christina Lewis; sons, Reynaldo George Lewis, sisters, Carmen Johnson Mckenzie Alice Lewis; 23 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM, Orlando Filipino Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1226 Bunnell Road, Altamonte Springs with Pastor Daniel Catangay, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
