Free school immunizations for OCPS Kindergarteners, 7th Graders this week

Orange County Public Schools and the Florida Department of Health are hosting free immunizations for seventh graders and kindergarteners this week.

The district will host free immunization events through Wednesday, June 22 for OCPS children entering kindergarten and 11-year-old students needing their required 7th Grade Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis immunization (TDAP).

The state of Florida requires students to have all of their required immunizations before school starts, which includes children entering kindergarten, and the required update before a child enters 7th grade.

New students to Florida must make an appointment by calling 407-723-5004, while current OCPS students can attend this week’s immunizations with no appointment needed. A parent or guardian with a valid ID is required complete consent forms.
