William Torres

William Torres age 78, of Sanford, Florida, passed away June 16, 2022. He was born December 31, 1943 in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Segundo and Maria Torres. Prior to his retirement he was a superintendent for apartment buildings in New York. William had a love for old spanish music and playing the guitar. His family also remembers fondly, he was quite the handyman and was very inventive.

Along with his parents, William was predeceased by a son William Torres, Jr. in 1969. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Norma Torres, children Myrta (Johnny) Torres, Myrta Eneida Torres, Zulma (Ubaldino) Torres, Sammy Torres, Maritsa Torres, and Marisol (David) Torres; brother Angel Torres, two sisters Monserrate Torres, and Efigenia Torres. William is also survived by eleven grandchildren Josue, Brenden, David, Ubaldino, Ivelisse, Naihomy, Jomar, Samantha, Jordan, Alexandra, Lucas, and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Collison-Gramkow Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Sanford, Florida.
