The Florida Festival of New Musicals will return to Winter Park this week.
The four-day festival begins on Thursday, June 23, at the Winter Park Playhouse, which is located at 711 N Orange Avenue in Winter Park.
The event will feature showings of six different plays at various times, beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, and 11 a.m. on Friday through Sunday. The first act of each musical will be read and fully performed, concert-style, without staging, by varying casts of professional actors and musicians.
Tickets to the event are $10 per show, or $50 for all six shows. Parking is available for festival patrons at the Rollins College Baseball lot.
