Los Generales was forced to temporarily close its Mexican restaurant after a failed health inspection last week.
On Wednesday, June 15, the restaurant, which is located at 2901 Curry Ford Road #221A, was temporarily closed by a health inspector who cited a half dozen violations, according to a report from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Among the violations were four considered high priority, including the presence of roaches. In total, nine live roaches were found during the inspection, according to the report.
The business was permitted to reopen the following day on Thursday, June 16, after no violations remained.
