Last month, Bellhop joined a long list of new bars that have recently opened or have plans to open in downtown Orlando.
Billed as an elevated cocktail lounge, the new bar replaced a longstanding Subway located at 37 N Orange Avenue, near the road’s intersection with Wall Street.
Bellhop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 5 p.m. to midnight. The bar is closed on Monday.
Just next door to Bellhop at 39 N. Orange Avenue, Parlay is making progress on its new sports club concept. The club takes over the former location of Finnhenry’s, which closed its doors last summer after over a dozen years at the popular Orange Avenue spot.
Parlay will combine nightlife, food, and will offer sports viewing over 25 LED walls, according to the company.
A couple blocks up the road, Pups Pub will open the first dog-friendly late night bar in downtown Orlando on July 1. The new business will occupy the space at 317 N Orange Avenue, across the street from the MAA Robinson apartment complex.
