Osceola firefighters free man from under van, finish replacing tire

Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS personnel helped free a man from underneath a van that he was trying to replace a tire on before finishing the job themselves.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 29 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, which is located at 1500 Masters Boulevard in the ChampionsGate neighborhood in Citrus Ridge.

Squad and rescue crews from OCFR Station 73 responded to the scene after a disabled vehicle fell on a man who was attempting to change a tire.

After relieving the man and providing him with medical attention, the man was transported to a local hospital for further treatment and the crews on the scene worked to repair the man’s vehicle so the family could drive to meet him at the hospital.
