Ralph Gene Winterhoff

Ralph Gene Winterhoff was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1938. After high school he enlisted in the United States Navy and became a flight trainer. While based in Sanford, Florida, he met Carol, the love of his life – and soon after, married her on February 18, 1960. After the Navy, Ralph chose a career in electrical engineering and retired at the age of 55. Ralph loved photography, nature and astronomy. But most of all, he loved his wife more than anyone or anything in the world. Ralph and Carol were married for 62 wonderful years.

Ralph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ralph and Carol were blessed with two children and three grandchildren who he taught by example strong values and unconditional love. Ralph will be dearly missed by his family and friends but he will live in their hearts forever. He is survived by his wife Carol, two children Traci and Bryan, and three grandchildren Samantha, Carsten and Katie.
