Charles Gerard Jaeb

Charles Gerard Jaeb was born August 17, 1932 in Albertville, Minnesota to Herbert and
Corinne Jaeb.

He died peacefully in his home surrounded by family on June 28, 2022 after a long illness.

His primary education was in the Catholic schools in Fargo, North Dakota. He attended NDSC and graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. He married Kathleen Barnick in June of 1954 and they celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary the week before he died. He joined the Air National Guard and served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

Charles owned and operated the Liggett Miracle Drug Store in Apopka for 24 years. After retiring from the drug store, he developed the property in Apopka known as Wekiva Woods.

Airplanes and flying were always his hobby. He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes. Charlie spent many enjoyable hours flying his own seaplane in and out of the many Florida lakes.

He leaves his wife and daughters, Julie Jaeb and Jill (Rob) Saltsman; grandchildren, Katie (John) Morrison and Bobby (Jamie) Saltsman; and great grandchildren, Emma, Cole, Nora, and Oliver. He also leaves sisters, Carolyn Kuzma, Dianne Doll, and Audrey Knipe; and brother David Jaeb.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Lorne and Adrian Jaeb.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Church on July 27,2022 at 11:00 AM.
