More than three kilos of fentanyl and nearly $200,000 were seized by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office from over a dozen individuals operating a fentanyl and cocaine trafficking organization.
Over the course of multiple months, the sheriff’s office conducted Operation Paso Chino to investigate 13 individuals that comprised a drug trafficking ring.
After their investigation, OCSO says that three firearms, $198,000 in assets, and more than three kilos of fentanyl were confiscated from the organization.
The head of the ring, Lizandro Martinez Ramos (“Chino El Negro”), was arrested, along with 12 of his co-conspirators:
David De Leon Colon, Jeismarie Bermudez Caraballo, Alberto Pagan Rios (“Pichon”), Alexis Quintero Gonzalez (“Flaco”), Jasmin Gonzalez, Jose Vasquez Sanchez (“Viejo”), Josue Justiniano (“Josh”), Luis Gonzalez, Luis Javier Vazquez (“Chino”), Marcus Harris (“Jersey”), Rafael Diaz Rosas (“Raffy”), and Ramon Velez Perez (“Jason”).
The OCSO Narcotics Section investigated the case and the State Attorney’s Office Narcotics Unit is prosecuting the case.
