Ellie Lou’s Brews and BBQ, which currently operates two locations in Clermont and Ocoee, is working on a third location in Winter Garden.
The new restaurant will be situated in Flamingo Crossings, next to the White Rabbit Dessert Experience, which plans to open its doors in 2023. The restaurant has not yet announced an opening date, but signs posted on the building and social media say it is “coming soon.”
Named for its barbecue and craft beers, Ellie Lou’s menu features a variety of classic barbecue favorites, including pulled pork, brisket, St. Louis style ribs, and a variety of specialty sandwiches. In addition to individual portions, the restaurant offers a variety of family meals that serve up to eight.
Mac and cheese, coleslaw, collard greens, and other Southern staples fill the side dish menu, including fried okra. The restaurant also features a variety of dessert classics, from Mississippi mud pie to red velvet cake.
Ellie Lou’s joins dozens of other restaurants in Orange County being built out, including a handful in Flamingo Crossings.
Capri, a restaurant that serves food from the Amalfi Coast, which is a stretch of coastline in southern Italy, will open its doors soon in the town center.
In addition, LIME Mexican Restaurant is planning to open in the plaza this summer, marking its second location in Central Florida.
