Edgewater police are searching for a man who is wanted for attacking a victim and firing shots during a road rage incident on Friday afternoon.
Edgewater Police Department officers responded to a reported disturbance in the area of West Indian River Boulevard and Airpark Road on Friday, July 15 at around 12:37 p.m.
Upon arrival, police spoke with a victim who alleges that James Seiler struck the victim in the head with a blunt object before firing multiple rounds from a firearm.
No one was struck by the shots, and Seiler and a female accomplice fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
Seiler is described as a white or Hispanic male who stands between 5’6″ to 5’8″ and has a shaved head, tattoos, and possibly suffered lacerations to his chest during the incident.
Seiler fled the scene in a 2019 Toyota Tundra that was light silver in color. The 4-door vehicle had an open bed, a tri-ball hitch, a chrome bumper, and was bearing a temporary Florida license plate DEY8579.
Police say that Seiler will be charged with aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a firearm when he is arrested.
