Felix is a Native of Santurce, Puerto Rico born to Felix Lopez Fuentes and Lydia Esther Borges on June 19, 1940.

Felix attended Central High School in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Immediately following high school, he began to work for Puerto Rico Telephone Company where he would create a professional career and served for thirty-three (33) years. He began his employment in 1960, as a Utility Post Fielder in which he was responsible for the installation and the digging of telephone pole holes. However, he was determined to not let his young age, lack of experience, or education keep him from advancing in this field. Felix was quickly promoted because he completed any educational courses provided by the Telephone Company, this enabled him to outperform other employees and to move upwardly within the Telephone Company. He never missed a day of work. As such, he held many positions including that of Truck Driver, Supervisor, Traffic Analyst Specialist, and finishing his career as an Administrator managing the Department of General Administration for the Telephone Company. He retired in 1993 and relocated to Orlando, Florida.

Felix is survived by his high school sweetheart and Wife Ana Hilda Matos to whom he was happily married to for sixty-two (62) years. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Felix was an avid runner and very athletic. He also loved spending time outside in his yard and maintaining his home. He was a “Handyman” able to come up with a solution for any problems that would arise.

Felix is preceded by his mother Lidia, his father Felix, his brothers Pedro Juan, Ramon, and Jose Luis Lopez. He is also survived by sister Isis Violeta, his three (3) children Isis Vanessa, Annette, Felix Renaldo, six (6) grandchildren Andres Jamil, Vanessa Karolina, Felix Andres, Vivian Krystal, Victor Alejandro, Matthew Reynaldo, ten (10) great-grandchildren Paola Elisa, Carielys Gissette, Victoria, Julian Francis, Penelope Isis, Tobias, Benjamin Victor, Catalina Victoria, Coralee Ariel, and Emilia Clara Natalie.
