Hattie Ballard, 95, a longtime resident of Miami, Florida and a resident of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully in Kissimmee, Florida on July 12, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard A. Ballard; by her parents John Sandford and Hattie Rountree, as well as 15 siblings. She is survived by her children Marion Jackson (Belinda Jackson) and Annette Ballard; by her grandchildren: Kawanda Jackson, Kanesha Jackson Goodwin (Vincent Goodwin), Brandon Jackson, Brenton Jackson, Corey Ballard, Tyra Griffin, Tamika Jackson, Tony Jackson and Toy Jackson; by her great grandchildren: Christopher J. Goodwin, Aniya L. Jackson and Deanisha Bennett; as well as extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Porta Coeli Funeral Home in Kissimmee, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, followed by burial at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery in Kissimmee, Florida.
Hattie will forever be remembered and loved by all those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
