Florida Highway Patrol troopers in Orlando seized over 45 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of around $1.5 million this week.
The FHP Orlando Crime Interdiction Unit and K-9 Rico executed the seizure this week, according to an FHP social media post.
“We appreciate our K-9 Team’s hard work to get these dangerous drugs off our streets,” reads the post.
The bust follows one in April by the FHP Orlando CIU team in which $5 million of cocaine was seized from a semi-truck.
