Monroe Conley, 68, of Orlando, departed this life Sunday, July 17, 2022. Monroe was born on December 3, 1953 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Mary Lee and Otis George Conley Sr. Monroe worked as a skilled mason for several years. He was a devoted family man, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Pearline J. Conley; stepdaughter, Shawnta Bell; siblings, Preston Williams, Tom Conley, Raymond Williams, Lawrence Conley, Henry Conley, JoAnn Williams, Loretta Williams and Michelle; 3 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 745 Woods Avenue, Orlando with Pastor Anthony Oliver, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
