Willie Junior Boles, II., of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Willie, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on January 18, 1968 to Mae E. Hammonds and Willie Boles, Sr. Willie was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Jones High School, class of 1986. He loved sports and played basketball for both Jones HS and Florida Memorial University.
Willie was an active member of Agape Perfecting Praise and Worship Center. He was a skilled Chess player, and taught lessons to the youth in his community at both Agape and Meridian Christian Academy. He also volunteered as a referee for the basketball Orlando city leagues. He loved spending time with his family and friends. His smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
He is survived by his loving mother, Mae E. Hammonds; 2 sisters, Lynette Miles, Rosa Boles (Johnnie) McCarthy; companion, Gayle Pryor; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, 2:00PM at New Bethel AME Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Pastor Wendell C. Webster, officiating.
