Backpack giveaway at Kissimmee library

The Osceola Library System will host a backpack giveaway on Friday to help Osceola students in need of supplies for the upcoming school year.

The Back to School Backpack Giveaway will take place on Friday, July 29 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Hart Memorial Central Library, which is located at 211 E. Dakin Avenue in Kissimmee.

Backpacks and supply kits will be available for the first 400 students for all grades, K-12.

Students must be present and accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to claim the supplies.

The library opens at 9 a.m. and distribution will begin at 9:30 a.m.
